DLA medical, is it a worry ?

I've been called for a DLA assessment upon my appeal for higher rate mobility, I walk with 2 crutches just about and have sent them further medical evidence. Is this a ploy and should I worry ? Anybody had the experience of this ? I need to go to Birmingham centre in which they are getting taxis for me
