Hey Macintosh community! Windows? ..... Mac?

Hey Mac Community! I've been running Windows my whole life. Currently running Windows Vista Home Premium (I think) and I'm thinking about blasting me off one of those nice shiny Dells, or go grab a Mac LapTop. I don't know a single detail about Mac. To give you an idea, it took me a solid 15 minutes in Best Buy fooling with one to figure out how to close. It was on the top left as opposed to the top right on windows. Seeking help. Windows? ..... Mac? o.O
