What are some good books to read?

I've enjoyed the Cirque Du Freak books. It has 12 books total. But what you mentioned it probably isnt your kind of genre. Its a action/thriller. It's about a once normal kid that found a ticket to the Cirque Du Freak and became a vampire and his best friend when he was a kid became a vampaneze (the foes of the vampires) and they try to kill eachother, etc. It's a good book overall, i just finished the series yesterday.
